You can apply for a PRI connection as offered by BSNL. The following facilities will be offered in the plan
1) A dedicated Optical fiber cable will be laid from BSNL Exchange to the Customer Premises.
2) The optical fiber network is the most reliable and fastest media in the present scenario.
3) Customer is allowed to take a group of thirty or more numbers that are in DID (Direct Inward Dailing). He can either take a smaller group as per the capacity of his EPBX Exchange.
4) The charges for the special plan offered for the customers of Moradabad is of Rs 10000/- monthly rental.
5) The customer will be given free calls worth 7500.
6) He can do either of Local calls, STD calls, ISD calls to own network or any other network within the free limit of calls.
7) Beyond the free calls additional charges will be taken from customer for every extra call he makes.
8) The PRI connection is accompanied by a 30 channel circuit that means customer will be allowed to make 30 calls either incoming or outgoing concurrently.
9) With the PRI connection some Add-ons can be taken eg high speed broadband.
10) High speed broadband connectivity of upto 8 Mbps can be provided on the same Optical fiber network.
11) For this customer can take any one of the available broadband plans
a. Rs 2799/- 8 Mbps 60 GB Free Download Upload.
b. Rs 3300/- 2 Mbps upto 150 GB, Unlimited Download Upload.
512 Kpbs beyond 150 GB
12) As BSNL is having some tie-ups with Coral (EPBX manufacturing Company). So within the Rs 10000/- plan a free EPBX of 24 Lines will be given to customer (if he requires).
13) To avail the connection, the customer had to deposit an initial amount equal to one months rental i.e. Rs 10000/-
The estimated time for the commissioning of the PRI connection on Optical Fiber is atleast two months ( As BSNL has to lay OFC and procure the free EPBX etc)
Hi, I work in an Educational Institute, we have applied for a PRI connection from BSNL against a Toll free number As specified in your blog we have deposit an amount of Rs. 10000/=, but few day back a guy from BSNL had said that we need 2 G703 modems for the activation of the PRI service.
ReplyDeleteIs the modems are really required? I am bit confused since neither in the application nor in the demand note it was mentioned.
Dear Gitartha.. No modem is required to get started PRI connectivity. If you purchase from our company called SNT located Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will avail minimum rental plan from Rs 5000/- to customers' requirements.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am volunteering for a educational institute, we are planning
ReplyDeletefor a PRI line from BSNL. I already have fiber terminated to the institute for internet connectivity.
My question is ...
1. Can I use the same fiber from BSNL for PRI , or do I need a different copper layed out ?
2. If its possible, how do I approach BSNL for it, what is the process ?
I would greatly appericate you expert opnion.
Thanks a lot in advance.
